SALON HE:ARTS (살롱하츠) is a Korean beauty salon group that started in Cheongdam in 2018. Its main salon, HE:ARTS DOSAN, sits on the 4th floor of 17 Dosan-daero 45-gil in Gangnam-gu, Seoul, facing the front gate of Dosan Park. A second salon, HE:ARTS HANNAM, opened in Yongsan-gu in August 2025.
What separates it from most Seoul salons is that hair, makeup, wedding styling and head spa are done in the same visit, by staff in the same building.
Every price in this record is in Korean won, taken from a menu photograph posted in March 2026. 1,000 won ≈ US$0.73 (22 September 2026).
SALON HE:ARTS DOSAN stands at the front gate of Dosan Park, on the 4th floor of 17 Dosan-daero 45-gil
| HE:ARTS DOSAN | 17 Dosan-daero 45-gil, 4F, Gangnam-gu, Seoul — front gate of Dosan Park |
| HE:ARTS HANNAM | 55 Daesagwan-ro 34-gil, Yongsan-gu, Seoul — opened August 2025 |
| Business number (Dosan) | 827-30-00440 |
| Opens | 10:00 |
The salon's own pages place HE:ARTS DOSAN at the front gate of Dosan Park. We did not measure the walk from the nearest station.
The salon moved. It ran in Cheongdam-dong until January 2024 and then moved to the Dosan address under the same business number. Some outside records still carry the old Cheongdam address as closed. The salon is open and operating at Dosan.
SALON HE:ARTS books in four languages, and one designer consults in English
The Naver booking screen for HE:ARTS DOSAN opens in Korean, English, Japanese and Chinese.
One designer, Jung Gyu-won (정규원), consults in English and takes English-speaking clients. Japanese is handled at the salon through other staff, not through her.
We confirmed this with the designer herself (23 September 2026). How far the English goes we did not measure — "consultation works" is what we checked. The same applies to Japanese: we did not measure who speaks it or how well.
There is no English page on the official site, and the booking profiles carry no note about language. If you are booking from outside Korea, ask when you reserve.
SALON HE:ARTS does hair, makeup, wedding and head spa in the same visit — here is what each costs
Prices are set by the seniority of the person doing the work, and for colour, by hair length.
| Range (KRW) | ≈ USD | |
|---|---|---|
| Cut | 66,000 (designer) – 110,000 (director) | $48 – $80 |
| Heat perm | 363,000 – 451,000 | $265 – $329 |
| Colour | 187,000 (roots) – 308,000 (long) | $137 – $225 |
| Head spa | 88,000 (20 min) – 187,000 (60 min) | $64 – $137 |
| Everyday makeup | 176,000 – 286,000 | $128 – $209 |
| Wedding makeup | 880,000 – 1,100,000 | $642 – $803 |
| Shampoo only | 27,500 | $20 |
Cut, heat perm and makeup are the only three that change with seniority. Colour, bleach, ordinary perm, blow-dry, head spa and clinic are priced the same whoever does them — colour splits by length instead, and carries no seniority row at all.
The head spa is sold as four separate courses, and scalp condition is read with a device and an app; the result is sent to the customer by KakaoTalk.
Prices are from a menu photograph uploaded in March 2026. We could not confirm they are current.
SALON HE:ARTS takes reservations only, and the last slot falls between 4 and 6 p.m.
| Walk-ins | No. Reservation only |
| Slot length | 30 minutes, confirmed immediately |
| Opens | 10:00 for everyone |
| Last booking | 16:00 to 18:00, depending on the designer |
| Days off | Vary by designer. 4 of the 17 Dosan designers take bookings on Mondays |
| Booked through | Naver booking (four languages) · KKday carries a K-Beauty Experience package |
You pick a person first, not a treatment. The booking screen lists designers by name, so a reservation can be made without choosing a service — and at HE:ARTS HANNAM there is a separate entry called "hair consulting (treatment unspecified)" with no price attached.
Last-booking times and days off come from four weeks of open slots we pulled, and can change.
Men's hair at SALON HE:ARTS DOSAN — 159 customer votes and four treatments that repeat
Naver lets reviewers tick what they liked. Across 11,789 votes on 2,518 reviews at HE:ARTS DOSAN, "good at men's hair" was ticked 159 times (HE:ARTS HANNAM 33, Seoul Frame 8).
Treatment tags attached to those reviews point the same way. Out of 82 tag types across 2,360 tagged reviews, the men's treatments that repeat most are these.
| Treatment | Tagged |
|---|---|
| Down perm (다운펌) — flattens hair that sticks out | 174 |
| Dandy cut (댄디컷) — a short, tidy men's cut | 167 |
| Two-block cut (투블럭컷) — short sides, longer top | 127 |
| Side-part perm (가르마펌) | 38 |
➡️ What men actually leave with here is the flattening side (down perm) and the short-and-tidy side (dandy, two-block). The votes sit on cutting and flattening, not on heavy perms.
These tags are counted for the salon, not per designer.
One SALON HE:ARTS designer carries a men-leaning client list and a magazine hair credit
The salon publishes a client list for each artist on its own site. We opened all 22 artist pages (23 September 2026). Most lists run 30 to 60 names and mix men and women. One is short and leans clearly male.
Jung Gyu-won (정규원), vice-director — Jeon So-nee, Kim Dae-myung, Kim Young-kwang, JUSTHIS, Jang Hyuk-jin, Irene, Leo J, Yoo Eun-ji
Five of the eight are men — Kim Dae-myung and Kim Young-kwang are actors, JUSTHIS is a rapper, Leo J is a beauty creator.
A magazine credit line confirms one of them from outside the salon. Harper's BAZAAR Korea ran a February 2025 cover story on actors Kim Dae-myung and Lee Je-hoon, and printed the credits this way:
Credit Photography / Choi Na-rang Hair / Jung Gyu-won (Kim Dae-myung), Park Min-kyung (Lee Je-hoon) Makeup / Lee Bom (Kim Dae-myung), Seo Mi-yeon (Lee Je-hoon)
The two actors' hair was split between two stylists, and the magazine named her for one of them. This is a record left by a third party, not a claim on the salon's own page.
Names not on the public list — actor Yoo Ah-in, YouTuber O'WON, and the FNC band AxMxP — were confirmed with the designer herself (23 September 2026).
We counted names written on the pages. We did not measure how much of her work is men's hair, and for the long lists we did not produce a ratio — telling gender from a name alone breaks down.
Seoul Frame is where SALON HE:ARTS sells the K-pop photoshoot, from 770,000 won
Seoul Frame is a separate registered location under the group that sells styling combined with a studio shoot.
| Package | KRW | ≈ USD |
|---|---|---|
| One Day K-Star Package | 770,000 | $562 |
| K-Duo Package | 880,000 | $642 |
| Star Casting Experience Package | 2,200,000 | $1,606 |
| Casual Wedding | 1,320,000 | $964 |
| Profile photo | 550,000 | $402 |
Fifteen ordinary treatments are sold alongside them, starting at a 44,000-won manager's cut.
Seoul Frame has been written up by overseas design press for its interior. We did not find a service page that carries prices, timing and a booking route in English on the salon's own site — the prices above come from the Korean booking screen.
SALON HE:ARTS runs two Seoul salons and they sell different things
| What stands out on its booking screen | |
|---|---|
| HE:ARTS DOSAN | 17 registered designers · the full range — cut, perm, colour, makeup, wedding, head spa |
| HE:ARTS HANNAM | "Hair consulting (treatment unspecified)" — an entry with no price, bookable without choosing a service |
| Seoul Frame | Photoshoot packages plus 15 ordinary treatments |
No designer appears at more than one of the three. The staff are split, not shared.
➡️ Which one you want depends on why you are going. For the haircut, Dosan. To decide what to do in the first place, Hannam. For pictures, Seoul Frame.
The three are registered as separate businesses. Whether a record at one carries over to another, we did not confirm.
SALON HE:ARTS has branches in Taipei and Osaka, and Osaka opened on 11 February 2026
| City | Status |
|---|---|
| Osaka (Umeda) | Opened 11 February 2026 — confirmed in Korean press |
| Taipei | Address published on the official site. Master-franchise contract signed January 2025. No opening report found |
| Tokyo | Agreement signed August 2025. No opening report found |
Each country has its own Instagram account.
There is no Japanese or Chinese page on the official site, and a search for the salon in Latin script on Kakao Map returns nothing. If you are looking for the overseas branches from outside Korea, the Korean pages are what exists.
The judgment we draw — the address decides what you get, not the brand name
Judgment ① Three addresses sell three different things. The two Seoul salons sell different things from each other, and Seoul Frame sells the K-pop photoshoot from 770,000 won. Choosing the brand does not choose what you get; choosing the address does.
Judgment ② The posted span is 40 times — 27,500 to 1,100,000 won. The brand name tells you nothing about what you will pay. What you book, and with whom, does.
Judgment ③ The record is concentrated at Dosan. 3,189 reviews against 775 at Hannam, 4.1 times apart, and 17 of the 22 registered artists are at Dosan.
Judgment ④ Booking runs in four languages, and one overseas branch has a confirmed opening — Osaka, 11 February 2026. Taipei is reported but we did not confirm it has opened.
Where this judgment can move — the prices come from a March 2026 menu photograph and we did not confirm they are current. The two review counts are separate tallies with denominators four times apart, so neither reads as a verdict against the other. We confirmed that consultation works in English but did not test a full appointment, and we could not confirm who at the salon speaks Japanese. Google Maps listings and review counts are missing entirely — Google blocked our lookups.
When SALON HE:ARTS becomes a candidate — and when it does not
Sorted from what we measured. This is not a judgement of the work.
| If this is you | Here? | Why |
|---|---|---|
| Hair and makeup in one sitting | Yes | Both sit on the same menu, and makeup splits into everyday, wedding, class and part-lesson |
| Wedding styling plus a head spa | Yes | Wedding makeup starts at 880,000 won; the head spa runs as four separate courses |
| You want to decide what to do at the salon | Yes | HE:ARTS HANNAM sells a consultation with no treatment attached |
| You want your scalp read first | Yes | Device-and-app scalp reading, result sent by KakaoTalk |
| You want pictures as well | Yes | Seoul Frame packages from 770,000 won |
| You need English | Yes, with one designer | Booking screen in four languages; one designer consults in English |
| You want to book a specific person | Yes | The booking screen lists people, not treatments |
| You are looking for a cheap cut | No | A cut runs 66,000 to 110,000 won |
| You want an evening appointment | No | Last booking is 16:00–18:00 |
| You are walking past and want to drop in | No | Reservation only |
| You want a head spa on its own | Unclear | It is sold as four courses, but we did not confirm it can be booked alone |
➡️ The axis is not price — it is how many things you do in one sitting. For a single service the price sits high. Stack hair, makeup, head spa and a shoot and you do not move buildings.

What we could not confirm — SALON HE:ARTS
- How far the English goes. We confirmed consultation works; we did not test a full appointment
- Who at the salon speaks Japanese, and how well
- Whether the head spa can be booked on its own
- Whether the March 2026 prices are current
- The Taipei and Tokyo openings. Contracts and agreements are reported; openings are not
- Google Maps listings and review counts. Google blocked our lookups
- Whether the old Cheongdam address is still marked closed on any given map. We saw it surface in an AI answer, not on a map screen we opened
- The designer's own Instagram. It is behind a login wall and we did not open it
- The nearest subway station and exit for either branch. The Korean record does not carry one either, and we did not measure the walk. The addresses are 17 Dosan-daero 45-gil (Gangnam-gu) and 55 Daesagwan-ro 34-gil (Yongsan-gu); look them up on a map rather than trusting a station name we did not check
